Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Assets is intended for constructive personal, professional, educational, creative, ministry, nonprofit, and organizational work. You may not use Assets to upload, store, organize, share, request, or distribute the following:

Sexual and exploitative content

• Pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual-services content, or material intended primarily for sexual arousal.
• Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation, or any sexualized depiction of a minor.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, voyeuristic material, or sexual extortion.

Suspected child sexual abuse material or exploitation may be preserved and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or appropriate authorities as required by law.

Illegal or harmful activity

• Material or conduct that violates applicable law or facilitates criminal activity.
• Credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, or incitement of violence.
• Malware, ransomware, credential theft, phishing, unauthorized access tools, or instructions intended to compromise systems.
• Fraud, impersonation, deceptive payment activity, or evasion of lawful sanctions.

Rights and privacy

• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
• Personal or sensitive information collected, stored, or shared without appropriate authority or consent.
• Non-consensual surveillance or doxxing.

Service abuse

• Attempting to bypass quotas, security controls, invitations, or access boundaries.
• Using Assets to send spam, operate an abusive public-download service, or interfere with service availability.
• Sharing credentials or invitations in a way that defeats account controls.

Schools and minors

Minors may not register directly. A school or youth-serving organization must have a separate written institutional agreement before enabling student access or storing student personal information.

How enforcement works

We do not routinely inspect private files. We may investigate when we receive a credible report, observe clear technical evidence of abuse, must respond to valid legal process, or need to protect people or the service. We will limit access to what is reasonably necessary.

Depending on severity, we may warn, restrict sharing, suspend an account, preserve evidence, remove unlawful material, or report conduct where legally required. When circumstances permit, we will explain the action and offer a path to respond. Immediate action may be necessary for exploitation, serious threats, malware, or imminent harm.
